LightMan TRAVEL wheelchair - Lightweight, compact & comfortable transport support

LightMan TRAVEL is a lightweight, strong transport wheelchair designed for users with temporary or long-term mobility difficulties weighing up to 120 kg. Intended for attendant-operated use only, it is ideal for indoor and outdoor journeys, hospital visits, travel and everyday transfers.
 

Key features & benefits:

• Comfortable, washable seating
  The padded nylon seat and backrest are fully removable and machine washable, supporting good hygiene and long-term comfort. Backrest height is 45 cm, seat depth 41 cm, and a 4 cm cushion is included for extra sitting comfort. A round sticker on the armrest and cross-brace (e.g. 46) indicates the seat width in cm.

• Lightweight aluminium frame & compact folding
  Made from painted aluminium with a cross-brace design, LightMan TRAVEL is both durable and easy to handle. It folds quickly to just 32 cm in width, making it convenient for transport and storage.

• Adjustable footrests for safe positioning
  The removable, side-swinging footrests are height-adjustable between 34 - 45 cm and include a removable heel strap for added leg stability. Footrests should always be turned aside or lifted when transferring in or out of the chair.

• Comfortable armrests
  Armrests (height with cushion 21.5 cm) can be lifted to ease side transfers and must be locked in position during use for safety.

• Soft-rolling front wheels & inflatable rear wheels
  Front wheels: soft, monolithic (non-inflatable) 19 x 5 cm
  Rear wheels: inflatable, 31 cm diameter
  This combination provides a comfortable ride over typical indoor floors and smooth outdoor surfaces. Rear tyre pressure should be checked regularly for safe operation.

• Dual braking system - for attendant & user
  Attendant brakes on the push handles allow controlled speed reduction (especially downhill) and full rear-wheel locking. User-operated parking brakes above the rear wheels are activated via knobs and must be used when getting in or out of the wheelchair, but not for speed control.
