KYLA

KYLA is a lifting mat designed for transferring a lying patient between surfaces, as well as lifting, turning and positioning the patient in bed. Four reinforced handles, a padded flexible insert and a removable cover support handling during transfers and routine care.

• Four reinforced handles
  Four handles provide multiple gripping points for carers, helping distribute the load and maintain control during transfers.

• Updated fabric & padded support
  The double-layer cover consists of 64% rayon and 36% polyurethane. Updated from the previous version, the fabric allows washing at 60 °C instead of 40 °C to meet higher washing temperature requirements. It resists tearing and water penetration, while a flexible plastic board with foam padding on one side provides support and patient comfort.

• Multi-person operation
  KYLA must be used by at least two carers. Do not exceed the maximum load and select the mat size according to the patient’s height and transfer needs.

• Coordinated lifting
  Before lifting, carers should assess their ability and request additional help if needed. Lift together, keeping the mat horizontal.

• Cleaning & maintenance
  Open the hook-and-loop fastening and remove the padded plastic insert before washing the cover at 60 °C. Clean the mat regularly and protect it from dust during storage.
