Improved, extremely stable attendant-controlled wheelchair for children HIPPO is an excellent daily device for children with special needs. This wheelchair is ideal for even the smallest ones. The interchangeable seating position of the cradle allows the child to selectively observe the environment or the caregiver.

It is recommended to use the device for children with the following disorders:
- cerebral palsy (different types); 
- myelomeningocele (congenital spinal cord herniation);
- craniocerebral or spinal injuries (of various origins);
- muscle damage associated with paresis and paralysis; 
- genetic diseases associated with paresis;
- other illnesses related to paresis, paralysis, and disorders of the mobility system; 
- after craniocerebral or spinal injuries (damage to spinal cord and lower limbs). 

 The possibility of safe travel and a comfortable sitting posture are important for the child’s development. This device has a sliding seat (forward – backward) with a soft cushion that ensures the correct position of the child and corrects posture defects and a backrest with adjustable angle of inclination. Therefore, the wheelchair is perfectly adaptable to the individual needs of the patient. Due to the robust design and convenient folding function, the device is easy to transport and takes up little space at home. Footrests with support belts and an extremely wide range of height adjustment, an easily removable leg expander (abductor), a system of 5 fastening points of seat belts and side cushions, and an adjustable and padded headrest guarantee stability and proper stabilization of the body in the required position. The wheelchair has shock absorbers that mitigate the inconvenience caused by vibration and shaking.   

The standard set also includes: 
- inflatable front and rear wheels: front – rotating on their own axes by 360°, rear – with brakes; 
- roomy bag;
- adjustable side supports;
- seat reduction and waist cushions (only to size 1);
- foldable canopy from sun, wind, rain;
- easily button-adjustable, leather-covered pushing handle;  
- foot cover; 
- cover from rain; 
- comfortable handbag; 
- pump.

The necessary wheelchair accessories can be purchased at an additional cost. 

Store the attendant-operated wheelchair for the children HIPPO in a clean, dry, and properly ventilated room. It is necessary to carry out cleaning and maintenance work once a month according to the instructions in the manual. 
  
Attention! The purchase of this Kid-Man™ product by a person under the age of 18 is eligible for compensation from the Republic of Lithuania. This means that our client who provides the necessary documentation can be awarded compensation of up to 1450 Euro once every 4 years. No more than the actual cost of the acquisition, if special needs based on the cause, illness or physical condition of the disability have been identified.
