STANDING SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN CAT, SIZE 1

Standing support for children KATĖ is intended for early rehabilitation of children unable to stand independently, when the goal is to gradually accustom them to a standing position. When a child is in this device, their body is better supplied with oxygen, the psychomotor system is stimulated, which is responsible for the perception of the correct position of the body and the proper connection between the centres of the brain and the muscles of the body. The support is made of eco-friendly wood, painted manually. A large number of educational toys can be placed in a deep bowl integrated into the device table.

This support allows patients to move and control their upper limbs safely and easily. The device has a positive effect on the development of patients, protects them from possible risks of injury, and reduces the consequences of injuries or movement disorders.

 It is recommended to use the device for children with the following disorders:
- cerebral palsy (different types and forms);
- myelomeningocele (congenital spinal cord herniation);
- after craniocerebral or spinal injuries of various origins;
- muscle illnesses associated with paresis and paralysis;
- genetic diseases associated with paresis;
- other illnesses related to paresis, paralysis, and disorders of the mobility system;
- after craniocerebral or spinal injuries and damage to lower limbs.

In the standing support, the child feels especially comfortable, since all its parts in contact with the body are padded. Covers are made of durable, antibacterial, anti-allergic, mould-resistant, breathable, easy-to-clean and disinfect material. This means that moisture does not accumulate and the child’s body is not irritated – they can fulfill the tasks given by the treating specialist, and improve standing skills. The device has height and width adjustable side supports, which are fixed with Velcro tape on the back. The angle of forward inclination of the standing support (from 25 to 85 degrees) can be gently changed by using the foot pedal even with the child in it due to the installed gas spring. The device also includes chest and pelvis (padded), foot supports with mounting straps and adjustable 3D footrests with mounting straps. Four easily rotating wheels with brakes are installed at the base of the device, allowing patients to easily move on an even surface. The necessary accessories can be purchased at an additional cost.

Standing support for children KATĖ is suitable for use only if the device and supports were adjusted taking into account the height and weight of the patient. It is prohibited to hold a child in a certain position by force. Such actions will make the patient feel uncomfortable and prevent them from maintaining proper posture.

Store the device in a clean, dry and properly ventilated room. It is necessary to carry out cleaning and maintenance work once a month according to the instructions in the manual.
